Mary Dyer Memorial Meeting, Wednesday, June 1, 5:15 pm

On June 1st in 1660, Quaker Mary Dyer was hanged for defying Puritan law, an event that ended up contributing to a major push toward religious freedom in the U.S. On Wednesday, June 1st (weather permitting), there will be a Quaker-style meeting for worship for about 30 minutes at her statue in front of the MA statehouse.
