Talk on Friends Peace Teams–African Great Lakes Initiative
Rwandan Quaker Peace Activist David Bucura will show slides and discuss the work of the Friends Peace Teams-African Great Lakes Initiative (AGLI) that he coordinates in Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania. David has extensive experience leading Alternatives to Violence Projects and Transformative Mediation workshops in Rwanda. In March 2017, the Avison Fund Committee gave a grant to AGLI to strengthen their Children’s Peace Libraries in Rwanda. African Great Lakes Initiative
